Lot 26 Woodmere SinatraSinatra is the first foal from our Artiscape mare, Sinspirational, who has a mark of 1:52f and over 242K. Sinspirational was one of four siblings from her Matts Scooter dam. All 4 have marks better than 1:55 and she has 2 brothers over $340k. Sinspirational’s dam is a sister to Maltese Artist 1:48.3 $2.3million and Artesian 1:49.2 $987,000 both by Artiscape as well.
Sinatra is a long racy looking colt, hopefully he’ll sing along like his namesake. |
Lot 34 Woodmere Delta
A beautiful filly, plenty of width but feminine. It has been special to watch Stealdeal become the fastest Maritime bred a few weeks ago with his win in 1:49.1. But then he came back the next week to finish 2nd in 49.1, and again last Saturday coming from 8th and 11 lengths back at the half and firing home in 25.3 to finish 2nd again in 1:49.3. It’s one thing to go sub 1:50 to do it 3 weeks in a row is special. On the pedigree page you can see how prolific Very Ideal Hanover has been here in the Maritimes but you’ll need to click on her Trackit link to see her 8 siblings that have been in ‘53 or better. It’s a family of speed and Delta covers ground like a jet!

Lot 48 Woodmere Armour
Armour is the third foal and 2nd colt from our Dragon Again mare, Amoreuble Hanover. If you view the Trackit pedigree, you'll see the potential for a champion. More moderate in size than his full brother with plenty of width front and back. Armour has been super pleasing work with, covers ground fluently, and is built to accelerate around our half mile turns.

Lot 54 Woodmere Luna
If you want to stack the odds in your favor, then having a daughter of Shadow Dancer in your barn is a great bet. When the 2 yr old stakes placed sister doesn’t fit on the sale page then you know you have a pretty solid producing mare! Lots of great horses deeper on the pedigree on the Trackit link. Luna is a powerful filly and moderate in stature. Like most of Shadow Dancer’s, Luna has plenty of personality. She’ll be an eye catcher sale day!
|
Lot 67 Woodmere Kennedie
A barn favorite, Kennedie is the first filly from the 1.50.3 $311K winning Four Starz Roe. Roe’s Jate Lobell dam is 10 for 10 in the winners circle including the speedy Maritime stakes sensation Untouchable One. Kennedie is more moderate in size with a more athletic build then the first 2 colts out of Roe. We’re confident Roe is going to throw a great one, her first filly could be that ticket.

Lot 79 Woodmere Skylar
Skylar is a long rangy colt, with more stature and length than the last couple out of Skylark. A full brother to Skyroller, we know the cross works. With his dam pacing in ‘53.4 at 2 and being a full sister to a millionaire, there’s plenty of pedigree to back up his good looks and the potential for another champion. Click on Skylar’s Trackit link to see the depth!

Lot 85 Woodmere KatieKatie looks like a clone of Wild Ride Hanover, our Western Ideal mare that made $291K. Wild Ride’s six offspring eligible to race have compiled $595,000 or just under $100K per horse, which are impressive numbers for maritime foaled horses. Katie has a bit of fire much like her dam and many of her siblings. Medium in stature, but with width front to back and strength like her namesake! Please check the Trackit link to see why Wild Ride is one of our favorites.

Lot 99 Woodmere Laddy
View sale pedigree
Rollwithitharry x St Lads Morgan Laddy is a long rangy colt with plenty of bone. He looks the way he’s bred with both Mach Three and Rocknroll Hanover having plenty of scale. Although Morgan hasn’t hit a homerun from her first three, we believe it’s there, with herself pacing in ‘55 at 2 and going on to make $250K with a mark of 1:50.4. When you see Laddy’s 3rd dam is the great Loving Proof then we know it’s just a matter of time before something clicks from Morgan. Laddy had OCD removed from his right hock in March 2022.

Lot 111 Woodmere Bretta
Bretta is just the 2nd filly from Highland Dancer with her only sister being an ASBA Breeders Crown champion at 2 and going on to make just shy of $90K lifetime. Perhaps not as tall as her siblings, you could drive a bus between her front legs and she carries that width right back to where you want it. Like her dam and siblings, Bretta is super to work with and will be one to watch for the bargain hunters in the back 25% of the sale. Bretta had OCD from both hocks in March 2022, her fetlocks and stifles were x-rayed and found to be free of OCD.
